IonSharp — .NET & C# IDE for iOS  ·  Last updated: August 25, 2026

The short version: IonSharp is a local-first .NET and C# development tool. It has no user accounts or content servers, and we cannot see the code or projects you create or run. IonSharp collects no analytics and contains no tracking. When you install NuGet packages or run code that accesses the network, your device connects directly to the relevant third-party service. That traffic does not pass through a server operated by us.

1. Who we are

IonSharp is independently developed and operated. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at yosora2016@gmail.com.

2. What stays on your device

Except for network connections initiated by features or code you choose to use, IonSharp stores and processes your development data locally. This includes:

IonSharp has no user account or sign-in. We do not operate servers that store your source code, projects, console output, or other development content.

3. No analytics or tracking

IonSharp collects no usage analytics. The app contains no analytics or tracking SDKs, sends no usage events of any kind — not even anonymous usage counts — and uses no advertising identifiers.

Through normal use of IonSharp, we do not receive:

IonSharp contains no ads. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we have no usage data to sell or share because we do not collect it.

4. Network connections and third-party services

IonSharp is a development environment, so some features or programs you run may make network connections.

Third-party services contacted by IonSharp or by code you run may receive network information such as your IP address and may process or retain data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control those services and cannot retrieve or delete data they retain.

5. Device permissions

IonSharp requests system permissions only when a feature you choose to use requires them.

Files and other data accessed through these permissions are not automatically transmitted to us. Code you run may transmit data to third-party services if that code accesses the network.

6. Purchases

IonSharp offers a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple's App Store. We never receive your payment-card or billing details. Your purchase entitlement is verified using Apple's StoreKit framework.

7. Data retention and your choices

Other than information you voluntarily provide when contacting us, we hold no personal profile or development data about you — no IonSharp account, analytics history, uploaded projects, or server-side record of your code.

You control files and projects stored locally, in iCloud Drive, or through external file providers using IonSharp and the corresponding iOS or provider controls.

Data sent to a third-party service by your code or through a development feature is subject to that service's own retention and deletion policies.

8. Children

IonSharp does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no ads, social features, or user accounts. Third-party services accessed through code written or run in IonSharp may impose their own age requirements.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how IonSharp handles data — for example when introducing new features — we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page before the change ships. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
